Play & Pretend: PP: 4. Sharing - Story

Sharing is an important social aspect that some children find difficult.  They may not understand how long they have to give their toy over for, they might feel distrustful that they’re going to get it back, they may not understand that failing to share their toys will damage the connection with their friends, or they may not see the benefit of shared play with items. This story aims to highlight that sharing a toy is not forever, the toy comes back, sharing is reciprocal and will benefit them too, sharing has a positive impact on our relationships, and joint play with items can be really fun.
