Play & Pretend: PP: 1. It's Fun To Play With Friends - Story

Some children with social challenges experience playing with others stressful or confusing. This is because they may be unsure how to play or because they see their peers as interferences in their game rather than companions. As a result, they tend to stick to their own games and play these in a repetitive manner. This lesson highlights how interactive play and a new activity can be a lot of fun. Some children need to be shown how interactive play can make their play activities more fun, and introduces the concept that attempting something new could actually be a positive experience.
