Meet & Greet: PP: 8. How Are You? - Story

This story aims to teach the social etiquette of enquiring after the other person.  It’s a good script for children to practice as it gives them something concrete to say after they have greeted someone.  Children that are socially awkward or shy really benefit from some scripts to start an interaction.  “How are you?” usually results in a standard “I’m fine, thank you” response.  At this level, it is sufficient for them to be able to respond and enquire after the other person.  It is not necessary for them to expand or provide more conversation.  This is addressed in more advanced modules.
