Meet & greet: JP: 2. Sharing Names - Story

In the pre-primary module we helped children respond to being asked their name. This module aims to develop your child’s confidence to spontaneously approach someone and ask them their name. It’s a challenging yet powerful way in which to approach and meet others. Being able to initiate an interaction is a wonderful start to making a friend and asking someone’s name is a non- threatening way to start the process. This week’s sharing names session is limited to peers and not adults as your child is still going to learn about stranger danger with unfamiliar adults.
