Meet & Greet: SP: 8. Over - and Under - sharing - Story

Sharing information with someone new can be difficult, especially when a child is feeling a little anxious.  They may tend to under-share, providing very little information.  This can hinder conversational flow and make connecting with others hard. Alternatively, they might over-share, including unnecessary details that bore the other person, or lead them to believe that they are not interested in them.  Children are taught to share enough information (but not too much) to encourage a conversation, and allow for both parties to share.
