Faces & Feelings: SP: 2. The Feelings Burger - Story

This story teaches children when and how to share their feelings with others.  Telling someone how they have made them feel isn’t always necessary, although it is most helpful in a meaningful relationship or very important situation.  They also learn how to cushion difficult feelings or a sensitive comment between 2 positive comments.  This is described as the Feelings Burger technique.  Using positive comments can result in a more open and less defensive response.
