Faces & Feelings: PP: 5. Things That Make Me Feel Sad - Story

'Things That Make Me Feel Sad' aims to identify the different things that make different children feel sad.  It is important for children to link the experience with the emotion.  There may be things that are similar but there may also be things that are different.  Everybody is different and there is no right or wrong when it comes to feelings. Speaking out about things that make them sad is cathartic (emotionally releasing) for most children.  It also helps them to feel less alone when they realize everyone feels sad sometimes and they hear about others’ sad feelings.
