Chit & Chat: SP: 5. Paying Compliments - Story

This story teaches children how to react in situations where other children do well.  They may feel disappointed or jealous when others do better than them, get a present, or get complimented.  They are reminded to move on from those negative feelings and express positivity towards others in spite of their own disappointment.  They are encouraged to consider how they would like others to treat them in these moments and then treat others the same way.  Children are encouraged to compliment others and are provided with ideas on some positive attributes that they can compliment people on.
