Chit & Chat: SP: 2. Being A Good Listener - Story

This story highlights the importance of active listening.  Children can sometimes be distracted, fidget with something else, look away, or appear disinterested.  Some children may be listening but they aren’t communicating this to their conversation partner, which leads to incorrect perceptions.  Other children are more interested in telling than listening.  Either way, this story helps children to know the importance of really listening and how to communicate that they are listening to someone.
