Chit & Chat: PP: 5. Kind Voice - Story

This story teaches children about tone of voice and how their tone of voice is received by others.  A kind tone of voice is described as soft and gentle and an unkind tone of voice is described as harsh and loud.  This story also aims to assist with developing theory of mind and children are taught how others might think about them when they use a kind or unkind tone of voice.  Considering how others perceive us is an essential social cognition skill that supports the development of prosocial behaviour.
